They are good looking knives that are well made. The chef's knife blade is quite large and the packaging calls them "Commercial" knives. Blade size is similar to some Forschner commercial knives I have used. The knives say the same thing that the German-made Henckels knives do (about Fridour ice hardened and such), but they are made in Spain. That explains the low price and the set is labeled as a "Gift Set".Low rating (rather than 5 stars) is because of the misleading product description. I would still recommend this set for anyone looking for quality knives at a very reasonable price.
