A friend regifted them to me because "it was an impulse buy three years ago, I just loved the color, but they've been sitting on my kitchen shelves gathering dust - I just know they'll be happier in your kitchen."Having already owned two great braisers and preferring to plate meals instead of serving them family-style, I didn't see how these pots would be useful in my kitchen. The green apple color of the melamine is lovely, but why even bother using that? Well, let me tell you, they really work. The food does stay hot in these pots a lot longer. I made chicken stock in the 4.5 quart pot and took it straight from the burner to the melamine holder and it stayed hot all afternoon.
