I was looking for very specific features: 1. dishwasher safe; 2. a capacity of at least 3 quarts; 3. "green" non-stick coating (no PTFE or PFOA used in the manufacture); 4. helper handle; 5. price tag less than $100.00. This pan was the only one I found that met all of my criteria.I've used my new Beka pan only a handful of times so far, but I can say several things about it. 1. The glass lid has a small circular opening to allow steam to escape: steam venting is not optional. 2. I wasn't happy with the way it cleaned up in the dishwasher, and have resorted to washing it by hand. 3. The handles are not attached by rivets. There is a screw that must be periodically tightened to prevent the main handle from twisting. 4. The pan does a nice job of heating evenly. 5. The pan is very heavy.
